Hi Fellow Aviators, Have been trying to check a pilots ARN on the CASA website, to no avail! Please help me to navigate through all the pages on their site(CASA)or who I should contact to find out the details on this person? Many thanks in advance. Alley

G'day Alley: In answer to your question,after checking some information,with a friend.CASA is duty bound by the privacy act not to release details on pilot licence holders.If the pilot in question has committed an offence,you can provide details on the time and place,the offence was committed,and they will investigate.Hope that is of assistance.

All:
Further to my last,I will lay out the procedures for getting information from CASA on licence holders,as far as privacy,and FOI (Freedom Of Information) requests are concerned.

All requests must be in writing,(no phonecalls)
A form is available from CASA to fill out,requests are to be on this form only.
And finally,a written consent from the licence holder/certificate of registration holder etc... for which the information pertains too,must,I say again must be forwarded with the above form.This also applies to C of A,AOC,and Aircraft registerion holder,etc... requests

Basically no consent,from the licence holder,the request will be denied.

Hope that's of some assistance,on clearing up this matter.
