Finally went Solo. 4 Months, 1 Week ago
I finally went solo yesterday after finally getting my SPL from CASA just before Christmas. Was over way to quickly so can't wait to do it again. What a great start to the new year.

Well done dgf it is a great feeling to go solo. I finally got to fly solo as well just prior to Xmas. Looking forward now to clocking up more solo time and moving into the training area. love to compare notes on your flight and how your training is progressing. Safe Flying and well done Cheers Paul

I reckon no matter how many thousands of hours pilots eventually chalk up, that first solo is a huge life-changing moment. Well done!

Thanks everyone. It's something I'll always remember.

Had been ready since mid Nov but stuff-ups with getting my SPL meant I had to wait. Have been working through the next few lessons and then ended up having a 5 week break around Christmas. When I finally got my paper work, I arrange an extra lesson of circuits just to brush up.

Hoping the weather will work with me and I can go solo again next week.
